Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad

Department of Information Technology

Course Syllabus

1. Name of the Course:  Cyber Physical System Security

2. LTP structure of the course:  2-1-1

3. Objective of the course:  Cyber Physical System is one of the major areas that gain significance in these days for effective control, monitoring and management. The CPS infrastructures are targeted by the attackers for various reasons to bring down the service thus directly affects the mass population of a country. It is necessary to train and create manpower to protect the CPS. This course will cover the CPS basics, Vulnerabilities, Risk and security along with legal perspective.

4. Outcome of the course: The students studying this course understand the CPS basics, implementation, possible vulnerabilities, impacts and solutions. Students will also understand the various legal and privacy aspects and Risk Management in CPS.
